Participants from the eight countries in the SAARC region, international guests and experts and other regional partners will attend SACOSAN V. Delegates, nominated by their respective governments, will include sector ministers, secretaries, SACOSAN focal persons and other players from the sanitation sector including policy makers, managers, field workers, civil society, private parties and community members.

More than 400 delegates and speakers, including renowned experts and practitioners from the eight SAARC countries will attend SACOSAN V.

Researchers and thinkers are invited to add their ideas in our online discussion at E-SACOSAN. 


Participants: There will be 100 delegates from Nepal, 250  delegates from other SAARC countries and 50 delegates/experts from International Agencies. The initial allocation includes

Afghanistan- 20

Bangladesh: 60

Bhutan: 10

India: 70

Maldives: 10

Pakistan: 50

Srilanka: 30

Nepal: 100

International agencies and Experts: 50


Note : Speakers and presenters from the countries have to be part of national team of delegates

Session on Innovative Sanitation
